A hospital building in the center of Asahikawa
A beautiful Western-style wooden building next to the Asahikawa Sculpture Museum. As a Takemura Hospital, it is the front entrance of the hospital built in Shijo 12-chome in 1884. It was a familiar building as a Rokkakudo, and was relocated to its current location when the building was dismantled in 1943. I imagine that Shijo-dori, when this building was there, had a high-colored feel.
