St. Anne's Church

The church of Santa Ana has a remarkable Renaissance architectural character, with white stone outside the church and brick inside. The church played a huge role during the Reformation. The church is a collection of treasures, Fugel Chapel, the Goldsmith Chapel and the Lutheran Museum are all striking.

The church of Santa Ana was built in 1321 and there are many religious paintings inside the church, which really makes it famous because Martin Luther visited it and is still a very important church in the area.

Compared with the local Notre Dame Church, the Santa Ana Church is much deserted. There are not many tourists here, you can sit quietly for a while here and feel the atmosphere of this church, which is quite good.

The history of Santa Ana may be shorter than that of the Church of Our Lady, but its interior is worth a look, with a white dome depicting a lot of biblical stories, each one a theme, and quite beautiful.
