This is a tall memorial, I think it marks 1000 years of habitation in this area. There is also a statue of a guy on a horse, his spear is wrapped in ribbons.

Pokrovskaya Gora is one of few tourist attractions in Bryansk. This is why it was even more disappointing to find the monument unkept, with peeling paint. The views leave much to be desired too. Somew...
