A wall and gate
It is a bastion and gate in the Venetian walls. It was named for its location near a sandy – sabbioso in Italian - beach. The gate is gone but the ramparts remain.
A beautiful view.
We walk along the river we met in this pleasant and enclosing atmosphere, a beautiful view, I think also visitable inside.
