Fangjia Hetou Village

Were amazed by visiting this ancient village with my 5 years old son who also liked it very much. Very authentic atmosphere. As it was mentioned below, seems like the time the was stopped over there. Very interesting to take a walk and look around. Old buildings, mountain ( can go up through the forest , there's stone path),living condition of the local people. Also there are many odd trees which grow through the stones and look amazing. There're no restaurants or cafes but a couple of tea houses with the nice mountain view ( but they were closed),also many minimarkets to buy some water or ice-cream. This place worth a visit for sure!!! High recommended.

The ancient town of Fangjiahetou Village may have just been developed, so there are not many tourists, and the commercial atmosphere is not particularly strong. Walking around here, time seems to have become solidified, and you can experience slow life.

It feels very good here. There are many aboriginal people. It is suitable for old-age, vacation and leisure. It is a rare ancient village. The stream on the side of the village is flowing, and you can reach the original ecological natural path on the mountain by the river. There are many persimmon trees in the village for hundreds of years, and the original ecological living state.

I still like the feeling of this ancient town very much, it is very suitable for life, very comfortable.

Hangzhou is 2.5 hours by car. Before entering the village, the tourist center is well built. Parking lots and bathrooms are equipped, and the conditions are OK. There is a scenic spot sign of Hetou Village in Fangjia. Today we are going to hike up the hill to explore the scenic spots of the ancient road. We are going to walk up Taohua Ridge. Uphill is the Stone Road, to the hillside there is a long corridor with wooden flooring, soon the mountain road is a little steep, the ancient road is more damaged, there are rivers flowing in the mountains, Yingshanhong also sporadic open. Mountaineering to Taohualing, there is also the New Fourth Army Guerrilla Taohualing Monument in eastern Zhejiang, there is a blooming Camellia petal falling, in memory of the revolutionary heroes. From the Sanjie Pavilion, you can go down the hill. Along the way, there are peach blossoms burning. The cloudy top of the hill is like a fairyland on earth. There are also some old houses in the village, black tiles and earth walls, wood stacks in front of the house, vegetable gardens and streams flowing from the village. Villagers also wash vegetables grown in their fields in the stream. Free-roaming idyllic dogs ignore tourists who wander in the village. There are two 500-year-old mandarin ducks and camphor trees in the park built in the village. There are also stalls set up by the villagers to buy some local products and snacks. Shop, but also to maintain the simple folkway, simple villagers to our way or more enthusiastic, the village is a free attraction.

The ancient village of thousands of years, the water is still the water of the past, people are modern people, the same is the world, changed only human civilization.

Entering Fangjia Hetou Village gives people a whole feeling of cleanliness. The architectural style of farmhouse courtyards is atmospheric and stable. It is a wealthy village. Walking in the village, you can taste delicious food and appreciate the unique architecture of the ancient village. Because of the rush of time, you can not climb the mountain. Otherwise, you can have a panoramic view of the whole village under the mountain.
