Nice free museum. Admission by donation. Lots of boat artifacts and located on the water. Friendly staff and in a cute small town with a marina.

This place is very cool. I wander around here whenever I come to Cowichan bay for hours and hours. I missed it this year (closed) but I will be back to visit again.

History of wooden boats and several examples to see. Also details the history of how the settlement developed.
Totally worth a visit
A real gem and totslly unique..just the outboard and beautifully handcrafted old boats are amazing..and you can tour the workshop too
