Great Nature Walk behind the Temple
Once you have visited the temple and well kept garden/ grounds of the temple, there are hiking trails that lead off into the mountains. You can go for a small walk up and see some great views of Osaka...
It is about a 5-minute walk from JR Nozaki Station on the JR Gakkentoshi Line. In the past, it seems that visiting Nozaki to Nozaki Kannon was popular, and the approach from Nozaki Station to Kannon is lined with shops on both sides. Officially called Jigenji, the mountain name is Fukujusan. The sect is the Soto sect. The principal image is the eleven-faced Kanzeon Bodhisattva. This temple is "onna kiriki hell" by monzaemon Chikamatsu, "new edition song festival" by Hanji Chikamatsu, "nozaki Mairi" of RAKUGO, "Nozaki Kouta" by taro Tokai, and "Osoku Hisamatsu's love story ...
You can reach it by walking straight from JR station. It is also a hiking course, so if you go while looking at the guide, you won't get lost. .. I went there for the first time in a long time, but I never thought the stairs would feel so steep. Be careful on rainy days. I was also asked to write a red stamp.
The cherry blossoms began to bloom, and colorful flowers were blooming on the flowerbeds in the precincts. I received a red stamp, but the reception of the people at the temple office was very pleasant and warm.
From the old 170 Route, follow a narrow road and you will find a parking lot. Climb the steep stairs and you will find the mountain gate. Climb the stairs in the precincts and you will find the main shrine. Next to the main shrine is Eguchi-do, which enshrines the founder of the temple, Eguchi. From the precincts, it becomes a hiking course that goes to Mt. Iimori, and many people are proceeding here. There is the ruins of Nozaki Castle along the way, and you can see the Osaka Plain beautifully. It is also the stage for visiting Nozaki, a story of rakugo in the Edo period.

The stairs were a little hard.
