It was so interesting to learn about the pioneers that once traversed these lands. Part of the famed Red Coat Trail, it's beauty, so raw, makes it easy to picture yourself back in time.
This site has a great history and is nice place to picnic. the drive out through the valley is wonderful. You will need good shoes to poke around the site
