Spectacular sunset!
Parking is just a few steps from the beach. We went here to watch the sunset and it was breathtaking. The sun "set" over the ocean just in front of us. Spectacular.
Beach was fantastic, nice sand, beautiful water. Big downside is parking only for in town residence. The rest of us poor slobs who live in Massachusetts have to hike a mile and half to park (15-20 m...
Came here to watch the sunset (check out one of the pix below). Parking was free (night time nobody cares), but we also found the beach itself was very nice. People swimming at dusk too. Great spot...
Very nice beach for a walk. Soft sand that is pretty flat. The only bad thing was unleashed dogs. Not the dogs fault. The sign says to keep dogs on the leashes

Crowded but lovely
Water was a little too choppy for young kids, and it was pretty crowded, but the sunset couldn't be prettier from Chappy Beach.
