is a metallic cypress from which a stream of water flows into a small pond. A work by Óscar Tusquets in homage to Dalí, it is inspired by the painting "Birth of liquid anguish", by the genius from Empordà.It is a metallic cypress tree more than twenty meters high designed by Óscar Tusquets as a tribute to the great Catalan genius. It is installed at the southern entrance to the city of Figueres .The sculpture is a donation from the Gala-Salvador Dalí Foundation to the city. A stream of water springs from the cypress and falls into a small pool surrounded by the same type of stone found in the coves of Portlligat and Cap de Creus .
