    Aizen Katsura

    Original Text

Kobo Daishi was in the precincts because it was the Shingon sect. And although I didn't know his name, there was also a tree called "Aizen wig" named after an actress named Michiyo Kogure.

A temple of the Shingon sect known for its Aizen wig planted by actress Michiyo Kogure. It was a little dark, but the precincts were brightly lit and there was no problem at all. I was able to visit comfortably.

You can feel the solemn atmosphere.

    Original Text

Do you know "Mizoji"? It is a temple of the Shingon sect Daikakuji school located in Katase 3 chome, Fujisawa City along the old Tokaido, and is called Homoriyama Yakushiin Mizoji Temple. A statue of love between parents and children stands in front of the gate. The children held by the kind Kannon-sama also had a lovely expression. Mt. Tsurumori was engraved on the flat forehead of the mountain gate. It was founded in the late Kamakura period. In front of the main hall, there was Aizen Katsura tree, which is known as a sacred tree. It was a temple with a solemn atmosphere.

"Aizen Katsura" planted by sanechiyo kigure, a big actress of the past

    Original Text

You can see a nostalgic name for old movie fans in the precincts. This is Michiyo Kogure, a big actress of the past. The wig tree in front of the main hall is "Aizen wig" planted in 1957 as a thank you for your care when you were a student. He appeared in more than 350 films in his lifetime, and the Shochiku movie "Aizen wig" (1938) is his first work. Now, along with the wig tree planted, the nameplate of 「 Aizen wig 」 is out.

It is on the way to Enoshima Road from Fujisawa to Enoshima. Even in the Edo period, many travelers passed in front of this temple to Enoshima.

    Original Text

It seems that the sand of 88 sacred places in Shikoku is buried around the statue of Kobo Daishi. If you go around the paving stone, you will have done the Shikoku pilgrimage.
