Nice stop
It was a nice stop while in Golden. History and the views are good. There’s a number of places along the banks to enjoy too. There’s also a 10km bike path along Kicking Horse River.
It’s a bridge that’s covered. It’s nice but that’s it. Good shade from heat of the day. I believe it’s over the kicking horse river and not to far from where it merges into the Columbia river.

Golden pedestrian bridge
It’s a bridge that’s covered. It’s nice but that’s it. Good shade from heat of the day. I believe it’s over the kicking horse river and not to far from where it merges into the Columbia river.

This is one of the oldest wooden bridges in Golden. It’s just a pedestrian bridge but fascinating to see.

Beautifully constructed walkway!!
Enjoy the views from the brige to the swift clean river rushing below. You are connected to all the great restaurants and shops Golden has to offer.
