A small museum in a nice cityscape. If you like Gipri's anime, you will definitely fall in love with it. Princess Mononoke Laputa A girl who spends time. I love this picture.
Park your car in the parking lot next to the "Furusatokan" on Samurai Residence Street and visit. It seems that the samurai residence was renovated and opened. The works of leading figures in the background paintings of the anime are on display. The atelier is also reproduced. You can also see the "Gyoto Hyakkei" depicting the scenery of the Goto Islands. It is recommended to purchase a common ticket with the "Goto Tourism History Museum" for 500 yen.
Until I went here, I didn't know the name of Mr. Fuzo Yamamoto (-_-;) There are not many exhibited works such as Princess Mononoke and the Tomb of Fire, but I was impressed to see wonderful works with delicate touch up close. I can sympathize with the activities I am working on. I don't know the world of animation at all, so I don't know what the type display of the exhibited works is. I wish there was an explanation of that part.
This museum decorates works by an animated film artist Nizo Yamamoto from Goto City, Nagasaki Prefecture. According to the guide, he has been an art director for about 40 years in the painting industry, such as "Castle Laputa in the Sky", "Tomb of Fire", "Princess Mononoke" and "Girl Over Time", and has been an art director for several 々 masterpieces. This museum is a museum that exhibits background paintings of animation drawn by Nizo Yamamoto and original paintings depicting Goto. The building has been renovated from the samurai residence "Matsuen Residence" built in 1863 (Edo period). Five ...
You can see the background paintings of Laputa and Princess Mononoke.

A museum built by renovating the samurai residence "Matsuen Residence" in the Edo period. At Studio Ghibli, you can see the original paintings of Mr. Nisan Yamamoto, who worked on the background paintings of Laputa and Princess Mononoke, and the scenery of Goto. The Matsuzono Residence itself is also a highlight, but Mr. Yamamoto's painting is the best. There is no place to see the samurai residence street itself, but this is the only one. Next to Fukue Castle (Ishida Castle), it is recommended to make this a destination while looking at the samurai residence street.
