During our drive through the mountains, we came across Byer's Canyon and were impressed with the scope and breadth of the canyon and surrounding mountain faces. Great photo opportunity.
Byers Canyon, of the Colorado River, is on US 40. I wouldn't make a special trip to drive through, but it is a nice few minutes if you are on 40 on the way to someplace else.
