A lovely location in the Hawkesbury area of NSW.
A great place to do some walking and exploring of the area. Plenty of parking onsite with toilets and picnic areas.
Horse and animal friendly
Took horse here and also dogs on various times. If you have animals you need to remember to be down stream from humans - for obvious reasons... get there early if you have a float.
Nice, peaceful and relaxing
WE were travelling through as a young family and wanted somewhere to stop for lunch and have a break. We watched people use there motorised model boats on the water and the kids enjoyed watching them....
Nice to dip the toes
Nice place to pull up on a canoe trip and rest, big sandy bend in the river makes it easy to launch back into the river.

This place is amazing it has fresh clean water running in from the Grose River and Nepean River and it all runs into the Hawkesbury rivier at the river intersection it's got a sand beach and some clea...
