Wenchang state, located in Dongyang, Guiyang City, was founded in the 24th year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty (1596). Wenchang room is 20 meters high and faces east. There are five wings of rooms that are built on both sides. The wing rooms are connected by corridors, and there are unique mountain garden walls outside. The place is also graced with multiple corridors and multiple roads, it is a rather magnificent group of joint buildings. Wenchang has a unique shape, and its transformation is also unique. No. 29 Wenchang street, Yunyan district, Guiyang city Wenchang Pavilion was built in 1609, the 37th year of the reign of Wanli in the Ming dynasty. It was originally used to worship the Emperor Wenchang. Rebuilt in 1669, during the reign of Kangxi in the Qing dynasty (1644-1911). Wenchang Pavilion is included in the Chinese National Key Cultural Relic Protection unit. Reformations and repairs were made to protect it were made. There is an open space outside of Wenchang Pavilion that you’ll see as you approach the place from the entrance along Huaxi Avenue. You’ll be greeted with a block that has 7 core values that everyone must have. As you go up you’ll see an ancient style kind of watch, the sundial. Recently as Yunyan district is promoting a lot of activities and advertising at Wenchang Pavilion, you’ll also see an I love Yunyan background for taking pictures and it lights up at night.
