You just have to visit if you are in Hakuba.
New Years Eve to ring the bell and make your first or maybe second prayer for the year. The entrance is marvelous trees, garden and stone statues of Buddha. Find Sativa...
A large temple that I stopped by on the way back from skiing at Hakuba 47. Unlike the general temples, the architectural method, the appearance of covering the tiled roof with wooden boards was unique. Since it's winter, the snow removal board is a little exciting, but it was quite good, including the appearance of spreading both wings. The parking lot is large and easy to access.
Please visit during the autumn leaves season, and you can see the wonderful autumn leaves from the window. The temple was also very nice. It is recommended.
In 1391 (Meitoku 2), the Lord of Iimori Castle, Harumori Hyuga, was built by Mitsuhime Uchimuro, the Lord of Iimori Castle, who was in this area, from Hatsuse-ji Temple in Yamato province (about now Nara Prefecture). An old temple built by moving the principal image of the eleven-faced Kanzeon. The thick cedar tree in the precincts is 500 ~ 600 years old, and it seems to be a natural monument of Hakuba Village. There is a large parking lot.
