Colorful
Hell-Bourg is a very charming little town, so it is only fair that the cemitery is also worth visiting. It deserves its name - the view is breathtaking. But your eyes will probably be more attracte...
It is a nice little creole village and there are a few typical houses and this cemetery is really beautiful with a lot flowers planted by family members. Not creepy but simply beautiful.
My wife and I spent a while in this place. It was very moving to think of the lives lived ( some for not so long). The setting was tranquil and all the flowers added to its special appearance.
We stumbled on this cemetery whilst going for an evening walk. Amazingly peaceful spot, surrounded by the mountains and wonderful last resting place, beautifully kept. RIP.
We are in the flower business and it was great to see how the people of Reunion Island decorate the graves of their loved ones. It is a beautiful space with lots of flowers. It touched my heart.
