It enshrines Sugawara no Michizane. In the shrine legend, Enkyu ３ (1071) was built by Nagaki Okura. The former main shrine is built in the Sanmasha style and the roof is ita-roofed, and it is one of the few full-scale buildings in Kyushu during the Muromachi period. There were other materials in the separate room of the museum where you could learn about local customs. Please visit the museum as well as worship.
