It is reasonable that Su Dongpo, as a derogatory officer, cannot live in Hejiang Building. But Huizhou Taishou Zhanfan admires Su Dongpo very much and specially arranged his stay. Hejiang Building was destroyed when it demolished the city in the early years of the Republic of China. In order to promote Dongpo culture, the Huizhou Municipal Government decided to rebuild Hejiang Building, the first residence of Dongpo Yuhui, and restore the beautiful scenery of "Zhulou Kai at the second river" in history. Hejiang Building was originally a small east gate building in Huizhou, and it has been resurgenced several times in history. Due to the occupation of the original site, this reconstruction, the site of the bridge east east new bridge bridge head Dongjiang, Xizhijiang intersection, high 48.77 meters, the building is Junlang upright, the shape is Qing Dynasty official style, heavy spire shape. Hejiang Building gray tile white wall, red column green platform, colored bucket arch beams, the overall building gradually narrowed upward, each floor above the second floor is surrounded by pick-up platforms. The main building has 8 floors plus a base for a total of 9 floors, supplemented by antique piers and squares, the square side is the entrance of Shuidong Street.
