It's a dam in the mountains.
Okuibi Lake seems to be another name for this dam lake. If you drive from Ibigawa Town to Lake Biwa on National Highway 303, you will cross near the lowest stream of the dam lake with a large suspension bridge-style bridge. It's a big and complicated dam lake, but I couldn't take a closer look because there were many curves on the surrounding roads.

The interior has also become the location for the live-action version of "Space Battleship Yamato". You can get a dam card on weekdays and holidays. In spring, the surrounding cherry blossoms are beautiful.
