Meiji Kan without the old hospital
Original Text
It is the oldest existing wooden Western-style clinic building in Gunma Prefecture. It was built as Imamura Clinic in 1897 and was relocated to its current location in Hikiya in 2002, but it will move 100m in two days. Meiji The museum is the name decided by the public offering. It is open to the public for free. There are many exhibits of Isesaki textiles (Meisen), and there is no remnants of the clinic. Is it a touristization? It's quite a pity. The exterior is a Western-style building, but the interior is a Japanese-style room centered on tatami mats.
I know that Isesaki is a fashionable western building, a textile town.

I was asked to guide me first, so I asked. (I tend to refuse) It was a great answer when I was guided. I'm sure the guide loves the building and Isesaki, so I thought it was because it could be conveyed. Isesaki was a castle town and was a major production area of silk fabrics.
10 minutes walk from Isesaki station. Free admission. The former Imamura Clinic built in 1912. It was donated to Isesaki City in 2002 and moved to its current location at Hikiya. The stairs in the building are blocked because of steep and dangerous, and it is located on the back side of the building and goes up to the second floor by the stairs of the management building directly connected by the corridor. It may be because there is "Isesaki Meisen" in the local traditional crafts, and when I visit the museum, "Meisen That's ...
The Meijikan is there and shows its old appearance. In the old days, this building was a clinic. It took days to move it by a pulley across a big road, so it is dignified alone.
It is the oldest wooden Western-style hospital building in the prefecture built in the end of the Meiji era.

Meiji 45 It is the oldest wooden Western-style clinic building in the prefecture built in the year, and is designated as an important cultural property designated by Isesaki City. It is a very quaint classic Western-style building. Even though it is a Western-style building, the Japanese-style part can be seen in various places including tiles, giving it a mixture of Japanese and Western styles. I thought the highlight was that both the exterior and interior were decorated with elaborate decoration of Western-style architectural technology at that time. Admission is free, so it's good to go easily.
