Yutaki Observatory is the first stop of our trip to Ishigaki Island. It only takes 15 minutes to arrive from the airport by car. The scenery is good, especially when the weather is clear, you can see a long distance, the pink blue sea is very beautiful,
The Yutaki Outlook is a high-rise observatory on the eastern side of Ishigaki Island. It has a great view, more than 180°, and can overlook the scenery from Nohara saki in the south to Hiroshima at the northernmost point. From here, you can see the beautiful white sand beach of Ihara Bay, and from the east you can see the blue coral reefs and sand beaches. It is also said to be the best place to watch the sunrise every summer. Unfortunately, the day we went was already evening, the clouds were a bit thick, and the sea looked less transparent. If the weather is good and the clouds disperse, the blue sky and white clouds and the blue sea must look more beautiful here.
Overlooking the entire bay, you can see the city buildings below, the boundary between the deep waters in the distance, and the observation deck has two coin-operated telescopes, which can see the small islands and hills in the distance.
From the bus terminal, there is a direct bus to Yutaki, but the bus interval is more than 4 hours. When I go, the coffee shop there is also closed, so remember to prepare something to eat in advance.
This is the most beautiful scenery I have seen in Ishigaki Island. The sea is full of layers and all kinds of blues are interesting.
