Stunning site that is so accessible! Walking through the old church and around the churchyard was well worth the short drive from Port Ellen. Look out for the nice little beach on the way.

Really ancient history
Interesting spot just off the usual route for whisky tours. Useful board with history on and even cakes for sale with honesty tin if you are lucky!
