I climbed the mountain with a project called forest learning hike for children. It was a course that runs vertically between Nakahiruzen and Shimohiruzen, and started from the trailhead of Nakahiruzen. There are places to climb rocks on the way, so it is dangerous if you do not wear mountaineering equipment. From the top, the Hiruzen area was very beautiful with a wide view.

I put my car in the parking lot of the cold spring in Shiogama on the Hiruzen Plateau and climbed from here. Cold water was replenished here. The trailhead is about 500 ｍ at altitude. At the trailhead, there are campsites, lodges, and "Shiogama no Reizen", one of the 100 best Japanese waters. ２ It takes nearly an hour to reach the top, but you can't see the view by climbing steeply in the forest. From the top, you can overlook the Hiruzen Plateau.
