The museum is just see and the reenactment is good and we'll organized. The area is not to far from other civil war sites.
Well Preserved and Very Rustic
I very nice little museum/relic center is adjacent to the actual fort. Well preserved with a nice battle re-enactment the first weekend in November. Cliffs overlooking the river gives you a feeling ...

Well described and interesting spot of history. You can see why this spot held a strategic advantage.

Very enjoyable trip. My husband found his 3rd great grand father was stationed at Fort Branch during the Civil war.
