Today's walk course (Matsue city)
Original Text
Tawara Shrine is a shrine enshrined in Okutani-cho, Matsue City, Shimane Prefecture. Originally, there were two companies, but it seems that they joined one company in the 2nd year of Enpo in the Edo period (1674). Yakumo Koizumi liked to visit.
Let's do our best to climb the stairs lined with lanterns. The main gate at the end of the climb is a thin ivy, and it is a shrine that is typical of Matsue, the city of God. The lanterns lined up in an orderly manner next to the main gate are also beautiful. I'm convinced that it's a shrine that Yakumo liked.
It's a shrine I've known for a long time, but I visited it for the first time. There was a hall of worship on a small hill that went up a pretty stone steps, but it had an older style than I expected.
It was in Yamate of the Koizumi Yakumo Memorial Hall. Climb the long stairs and there is Zuijinmon on the last stairs. The sculpture of the ancestor was wonderful and beautiful. Yakumo Koizumi also visited.
Like Shiroyama Shrine, this is also one of the places Yakumo Koizumi liked to visit. The approach leading from the torii gate is an interesting terrain, such as once climbing to a flat place and then climbing further mountains.

The stairs are amazing.
