Hokkaido I have traveled to Hokkaido for many years and it is the southernmost cape around Cape Nokanpu, Cape Soya, Cape Nosappu, Cape Erimo, Cape Chikuu, Cape Shakotan, Cape Kamui and Color 々 It is only a stone monument in the parking space and photography. I think it's good to have nothing.

Many people visit Cape Soya in Hokkaido and Cape Nosappu in Nemuro. However, Cape Shirakami at the southernmost end and Cape Obana at the westernmost end are not known, and although it is not a particularly impressive scenery, it has a different advantage from a famous tourist destination.

　From the city of Matsumae Town, head east on the national highway toward Hakodate. On the way, you will find Cape Shirakami, the southernmost part of Hokkaido. There is also a parking space at Cape Shirakami, where the stone monument of "the southernmost tip of Hokkaido" is built, but there was also an observation space overlooking Cape Shirakami just before it (near the city of Matsumae Town). From here to Cape Ryuhi, the northernmost part of the Tsugaru Peninsula in Aomori Prefecture, １９ｋｍ. I could see it clearly.

　We enjoyed the cherry blossoms in full bloom, and ran toward Hakodate, the place to stay on that day. Numbers ｋｍ east of Matsumae Park, there is Cape Shirakami. When I stood at Cape Shirakami, the southernmost point of Hokkaido, I could clearly see Cape Tatsuhi on the Tsugaru Peninsula in the south across the Tsugaru Strait. The distance to Cape Tatsuhi is 19.2ｋｍ. The northernmost end of Honshu is Omazaki, the northernmost part of the Shimokita Peninsula, but the latitude is clearly located north of Cape Shirakami ...
