The statue of the four heavenly kings is placed at the mountain gate, and the prayer tablets of the Matsumae family are enshrined in the Goreiya, from the founder of the Matsumae family ･ Nobuhiro Takeda to the 18th Tokuhiro Matsumae. During the Hakodate War, it was destroyed by fire after leaving the Goreiya and the mountain gate. In addition, the mountain name is Mt. Matsumae, and the gate of Hogenji Temple is also exempted from the burning of the Boshin War.
