Mihara has a little mysterious place. Looking at the map, I think the border between bingo and Aki passes through the city. Sokoji's gate is an important cultural property of the country.
I met this temple while walking around Mihara City. There was an instruction manual that the four-legged gate of the mountain gate is one of the largest in Japan, but I don't know the details. It's just a little hill, so the view from here is good.
The temple has a magnificent mountain gate that is said to be the former Shin-Takayama Castle Castle Gate. In the precincts, there are also the tombs of Masayuki Fukushima (son of Masanori), who ruled Mihara during the Edo period, and Mr. Asano, the chief retainer of the Hiroshima domain.
