There are few people and you can walk in a private sense. The wind tends to be strong and the height of the tree is low, so cold weather equipment is essential even if it is hot. There is no toilet near the trailhead.
There is also Mikura Island in winter!
There are almost no tourists on Mikurajima when visiting. Fortunately, the weather was blessed and I enjoyed trekking on Mt. Nagataki as scheduled. Please note that the guide's guidance is essential for trekking on Mikurajima. Since it is a mountain, the climb continues, but it was not that hard and the wind was strong and cold, but the view from the last point of the course was amazing!
