Kitava Island located in Solomon Island and is one of the four major islands in the Trobriand Islands archipelago group of the Solomon Sea, located in Milne Bay Province of southeastern Papua New Guinea.
Kitava is the fourth island we visited in Papua New Guinea. It is the same as Kiriwina in the Chaoblen Islands. The island is7.1 kilometers long and4.2 kilometers wide, covering an area of 15 square kilometers, and the highest point is 142 meters above sea level.
