Grand old theatre
The Metropolitan theatre is on High Street with the Don knott's statue and star out front. This is a Grand Old theatre and nice to see it restored
Billiards and beer
If you're looking for something different you need to try "The Met". Beer by the bottle and snacks. Old time feel being in the basement. It's a treat - check it out.
Needs Work
This place was dirty, and old. Not a good place to have the Miss West Virginia pageant. Is a nice place, but needs improvement
Great Venue
This older theatre is a venue we have visited many times. My daughter's dance studio held their end of the year recital here and it was awesome.
Take note of the Don Knotts statue out front!
We really wanted to see the Don Knotts statue out front. That was the purpose for our visit to the Theatre. It was great to see it. The city needs to capitalize more on the great legacy of Don Knot...
