Large Golden Flower
A really interesting piece of art just off Marine Parade across the road from the soundshell. The golden colour and the shape scream kowhai. It is quite close to an old cannon facing Marine Parade.

The MTG Hawks Bay Museum and the Marine Parade are golden with plant monuments built in the green zone between them. It is painted in conspicuous gold with a sculpture modeled on the flowers of KOWHAI. This flower of KOWHAI is a New Zealand flower with yellow flowers and can also be honey.
