Fascinating Local History
Small but interesting museum, showing exhibits from the local area. Interesting railway section, including the bell from Riccarton Jct and the passes for the Doctor to travel by train.

This venue is a must when you visit Newcastleton, the history is there to see. It is all very well set out and easy to understand. very much worth a visit.
its maybe a bit 'busy' and certainly not really very child friendly but it does offer some interesting insights into local life. I wouldn't go out of my way to visit.

Low entry cost and plenty of local items to view. Has great support from the local community and provides great insight to the past and local history
