Ivek Castle, also known as the Sorcerer's Stone Castle, is the main location of Harry's Hogwarts School of Wizardry. It was originally a castle in the Duke of Northumberland County, and the second largest residential castle in England, known as Windsor Castle in the North. Every winter the host and family live in the castle, so it is not open in winter. There is an Aiweike Garden inside, you need tickets to enter, and tickets to enter the castle are charged separately, and sometimes you need to queue for tickets, so some people will give up entering the garden. Even if you buy a ticket, you can only visit for an hour. Entering the gate of the castle, you can first see the vast grass, many children come here, will run everywhere, play, have a good time. The castle is very characteristic and classic, with a humanoid skeleton on top of a door, chained in its limbs and pinned to the door panels. There is also an animal's head next to it, which is wide open and open, revealing long cavities, as if to swallow people. Watching it is also a bit scary. In the castle, there are regular performances, there are Harry ∙ Potter performances, and there are also bands playing. After entering the gate, there is a sign on the left hand side, which is posted on the schedule of the performance. It is best to check it out after entering the door. I have a number in my heart, and then I will rush to the performance venue according to the time. We just missed the show without looking at the schedule. And the band played on the grass, the brisk English music and all the performers would wear traditional English dresses, the scene was worth a look.

The wisdom of Emperor Hadrian was due to his inclination to do nothing in the course of his 21 years in power, but to devote all his energy to the development of the empire. His diligence was due to the fact that the emperor had traveled almost the entire territory of imperial rule. Hadrian's Wall was built entirely because he felt the threat of the Scottish Celtic after he arrived in England, and it took six years to mobilize three legions, from 122 to 127, to complete a 73-mile fortification.

From Durham by car north, to Newcastle, compared to Durham Village, Newcastle is a big city, at Durham Railway Station, I also saw several students who went to Newcastle to eat, the train arrived in about ten minutes. Here I actually saw the wall, the Great Wall of Hadrian, in fact, this is the northernmost border of the Roman Empire's British province, and there is a similar work with China's wall, which is to defend against the northern invasion. Along the Tyne River from west to east is the entrance to the sea. The King of England built castles, made of wooden spires and earthen exterior walls. The new castle is the source of Newcastle's name.

The Jedburg monastery was one of four large monasteries built in the Middle Ages on the border between Scotland and England, founded in 1138 and was primarily inhabited by the Order of Augustine. Jedburg Abbey Jedburgh Abbey is located on the south slope on the north bank of Jed Water on the Jed River, with beautiful scenery. The scenic spot is divided into two parts: the exhibition area and the viewing area, and the exhibition area is in the visitor center. This medieval monastery has been looted by war, leaving behind a flawed beauty that is worth exploring. Although the monastery was destroyed only left behind, most of the original stone carvings are still preserved, reflecting the architect's achievements. In the main building of the monastery, you can visit the balcony on the first floor of the west end of the church nave through the narrow spiral staircase and enjoy the beautiful view of the main building.

After spending Edinburgh, Linlithgow Palace and Stirling Castle, we drove south the next morning, this time to Melrose Abbey (Melrose Abbey) on the Scottish Borders. Let me say what Abbey is, the most famous Abbey may be Westminster, that is, Westminster Abbey. In my own words, Abbey is the monastery, presented in a complex, and the monks live there, so Abbey has churches, cemeteries, and the monks' residences, as well as the dining room, the living room, etc. Seeing that some countries have preserved the complete monasteries, some even open to becoming hotels, I don't know what it feels like to live in it when traveling.

Abbotsford House The area is very large. This attraction is not called a castle, but a villa. There is not much royal background. You can also see the luxury and exquisiteness of the year. It is a very good attraction. ~

The monastery of Hexham Abbey, which is super exquisite and gives the architectural beauty, is worth tasting the sacred and connotation of the temple. You need to pay attention to the places that cannot be photographed. You can respect the local culture as you enter the countryside, and the overall plastic arts are full!

From Hexham to Hadrian, you can take a special tourist bus to reach everywhere, which is adjusted according to the seasonal operation time, but the buses are extremely punctual. The first stop is going to a place called Chesters Roman Fort. It was a small Roman fortress with a first-level soldiers in a battalion company. We arrived at Chesters Roman Fort in 15 minutes by car. Here is a typical European pastoral scenery. The fields just harvested have not had time to turn over the soil. A group of larks, stewed chickens and crow pack the grains left in the field. From the field, walk along Highway A6079 for 2 minutes and enter the forest area, and then enter the scenic area along the wood plank road in the forest area. Suddenly open, a group of remnants across the green meadow, one by one broken wall interspersed between them. This is a north-facing fortress, the focus of defense is on the east and north side, we enter from the south gate site of the fortress, the whole fortress is rectangular, the four doors are two-door holes with towers on both sides, the city of Hadrian's Great Wall runs through the whole fortress, From the north gate and the south gate each led a main road to the Great Wall, the south gate main road is next to the barracks, all the barracks' room foundation is still much higher than the ground today, even after nearly 2000 years, each battalion room has a sink, can introduce rainwater into the middle of the camp in the sink, Then the dark gate of the east gate is fed into the river Tyne which flows from the eastern side of the fortress. Close to the city wall there are two groups of large relics, respectively the command post and the ordnance station, the two building foundations are partially preserved, on the stone foundation erected a low stone pillar, the stone pillar is the stone floor of the fortress, the foundation has a flue directly connected to the boiler room, Such a design is equivalent to today's geothermal, the boiler room transports hot steam between the foundation and the floor, and the hot gas flows between the stone pillars, so that even in the cold north of England, the Roman soldiers from Apennines will not feel the cold. There are also wells and small underground granaries as strategic reserves. From the east gate, walk eastwards along the wall and you can see the bathroom on the river Tyne.

Lanercost Priory The restoration of this monastery building is unique and exquisite. It is worth taking a long time photo inside. The details are beautiful. The beams and pillars are also very artistic. The building is very beautiful. The bricks and tiles show the elegance and vicissitudes of history.
