It is said to have been built in the Nara period and is a pair of Wakasahiko Shrine that enshrines the mountain food of "Umiyuki Yamayuki", and Wakasa Kuni Ichinomiya is enshrined here, where the wife of Yamayuki Toyotamahime is enshrined. It is said that a huge thousand-year-old cedar stands as if to protect the shrine and worships this friendship from below. The unique arrangement of the hall of worship, the Shinmon gate, and the Mekushinmon gate in a straight line along with the upper shrine is also interesting.
