Nothing special for tourists
In this area there are several temples. Okayama-Ji is a temple of Tendai sect. The main building looks like that of an old public bath. Otherwise there is nothing special for tourists.
To be honest, there is no attraction that you want to keep a close eye on. History seems to date back to the Nara period, but I don't feel the weight of history. It's a local temple.
The first was founded in the Nara period of the 8 century
Original Text
A Buddhist temple of the Tendai sect. In the first place, it was founded in the 8 Nara period of the century, and once devastated, it was restored in the mid Heian period. After several relocations, it was now located in the 17th century. In the Showa period, the building was completely burned down by the Okayama air raid, but it has been restored after the war. A few minutes walk from the tram "Yanagawa". Multiple temples and shrines gather in Mayacho and look like a small temple town.

not impressed
Frankly, they weren't impressed. Maybe we should know some stories about this place, but since they weren't in our luggage, the place didn't catch us
It's not particularly attractive.

Temple
Many temples are gathered near Yanagawa on Momotaro Boulevard, one of them. Although it was in the center, it had a calm atmosphere.
