    Guided tour very informative

    Tour guide was very knowledgeable. If you enjoy Texas history and/or the Civil War time period this is worth seeing. An hour is sufficient time to see everything.

    ok, but not special

    we go to lots of old houses. hundreds, maybe. this one is OK. the price is reasonable. the docent gives you a pamphlet, turns on a brief video and then you're on your own. nothing wrong with that but...

    Wish we had time to visit inside, but drove by this stately mansion of yesteryear.....fabulous! Definitely will come back and take a tour!
