Butano Park Great Place for hiking and viewing redwoods
Quiet park to visit to see the redwoods and do some hiking. Bonus is that it is not far from the beach, so both outings can be combined for a fun day of fun.
Excellent picnic spot. Everything in bloom, minimum amount of traffic, old fashioned out houses. The only drawbacks are that it isn't really dog friendly and there were no water spigots turned on.
