The DNA Lounge is a resource for people who love music. Mostly of the industrial varieties. No dress code. I like that. Dress up, or don't. This is about having a good time, not passing muster at a velvet rope. Drinks are strong and reasonably priced. There is food available both inside the club and outside, which helps soak up the aforementioned reasonably priced drinks, or really if one is feeling peckish while still enjoying the music. No need to leave! For folks who have extra money burning a hole in their pocket, there are VIP booths and table service and the like, which is great fun. Go, get yer goth on, and have a good time.

Good sized venue for any night with a split level design so there's a big and small dance floor that are independent, but my review is only for Booty on Saturday nights. If you want a Pirate themed mashup party with a mixed sexual crowd this is about as good as it gets.
Every Saturday night DNA Lounge serves up the hottest beats in the city. Adrienne presides as both the king and th queen of the mash-up (mixing two or more songs together at once). The drinks are pretty standard, but that's not why anyone is there. If you're looking to party hard at a pirate-themed mash-up extravagganza, DNA Lounge (and BootieSF) is the place to be.It's grown in popularity over the years and, as a testament, is held every Saturday (rather than the once per month it started as). If you get there before 10:30, you get half off cover and you avoid the inevitable wrap-around-the-block line. No dress code, no hang ups, just friendly, accepting people looking for a great Saturday night. The other fantastic event held at DNA Lounge is on the occasional Sunday night, called Trannyshack. The schedule is really variable, so you're best bet is to google it if you're interested.
Great little venue with a large dance floor, also has a 24 hours pizza joint right next door.
Came here to see a friend DJ and also celebrate their birthday. This place is home to Bootie SF, which is a mashup event that takes place a few times a year. There are several rooms inside, which can cause you to get lost if you haven't been here before. Props to one of the bartenders (forgot his name, unfortunately) for making an awesome Mint Julep!
