    From distance

    We chose not to climb to the top nor walk by Cembalo Fortress (just didn't have enough time) but now think that this would be great idea. We observed the Fortress from distance and later read about it...

    fantastic view

    its a bit of a climb in places ,need to wear good walking shoes ,but when you get to the ruins at the top the views make it all worth while.

    Look in and look out

    More of ruins than a fortress, to be accurate - but even more to learn about construction practices this way. Nice view too.

    Magnificent view!

    The climb was worth it, magnifient view overlooking the port of Balaklva and the Black sea. The steps are conceived for short strides, easily accessible for non athletes.
