Love this drive
We drove about 15 miles of this beach. Stopped by the UFO beach and we saw the hard hat pole. Stopped along the way to collect some seashells. South Padre Island has the best shells. Some are broken b...
Not worth going
The park needs a total rehab. Every aspect. Buildings were in need of repair. Playground unusable. Very sloppy looking area.
Sandpipers, Sandcrabs, and Sand Dollars....
Off season and weekdays less traffic and more solitude. Just what we come here for.... 3.5days with the salt breeze in our face just what we needed!!!
Beach full of pickups and horse poop
Looked to me like the whole beach east of this park was full of trucks, very often driving too fast and horse's poop. I am surprised that horses are not required to wear diapers, or whatever it is cal...
Stunning and quite beach on South Padre Island
This part of the beach is not crowded at all. The sand is fine and soft and there is plenty of beach for a nice long beach walk.
