Yushanyang の Grandpa's House
Original Text
About 15 minutes walk from Takehara station. Facing the main street of the townscape preservation district. Free admission. Machiya where Yorikorekiyo ran a dyed shop. Built in 1775, it is made of wooden painted basket tile roof. Korekiyo's eldest son, Harusui, is a Confucian scholar and father of Rai Sanyo. A monument of Rai Sanyo is erected in the backyard of this house.
When Yorikorekiyo used to be a sushi shop, he made a main tile roof and a rimaya. It is also designated as a historic site in the prefecture. Many scholars are coming out of here.
It is located north of the townscape preservation district. A person named Korekiyo Rai is said to be the grandfather of Sanyo Rai, who wrote "Japanese Foreign History" at the end of the Edo period, and ran a dyed shop (dyed shop) at this place. It is a magnificent building for a cherry blossom shop. Admission is free and there is a large stone monument in the back garden.
It's a mansion built around 1775, but it's a pity that it doesn't make you feel the flow of time very much.

This is the house where Sanyo Rai's grandfather, the author of "Japanese Foreign History", ran a sushi shop. Sanyo Rai himself was not born in this house, but his father, Harusui Yori, was born in this house. This facility is free to visit. Once inside, there is a dirt floor in the center, and the rooms are lined up on the left and right. It can be seen that the beams were quite good and powerful merchants. Because of this financial strength, I was able to educate my father Harusui well, ...
