Worth s visit
This is worth a visit especially if you love boats and anything to do with the sea. History on Ama is interesting and full sized boats wonderful. There is a bus that takes you there cost 500 yen
Interesting presentation of the history of life in and around the local sea. Dioramas provide detailed information on the people and acquatic animals from the Toba area.
Very impressive design. Very small museum tells touching story of locals and the sea. Great material combination and view. Building merges into the surroundings.
