is a must in tolaga bay
incredibly long bridge. Unfortunately it is closed due to the poor state of the construction, so you can only see it from a distance or only the beginning.
A nice walk to the end of the wharf and back. The sign said the wharf was closed but we ignored it, as almost everyone else did. A pity the water was really stirred up but we saw a few little fish.
If you're touring the East Cape area, definitely worth dropping by here on your way. The wharf is interesting for being so long, and in NZ terms, so old. But it's the scenery that's the real attract...

Still a beautiful thing to see with lots of history but unfortunately the wharf is closed so no access or jumping off the end
