The site of the Puerta del Sol, originally a gate facing the east on the 15th century Madrid wall, was named after the upper floor decorated with the pattern of the rising sun; in the continuous expansion of the city, the gate was demolished in 1570. The square, which was built, retained the name of "Puerta del Sol" and gradually became the center of the city. From the aerial aerial view, the 10 streets and alleys are radiant, like the rising sun and shining. In the center of the square, oval fountains on both sides of the east and west, surrounded by the statue of Carlos III sitting in the C position. The king, who built Madrid's vast infrastructure and was admired by the people of Madrid, rode a high-headed horse and sat smilingly watching the wind and clouds of the square and the changes of the city. On the south side is the most classic building in the square - the Security Bureau Building. The building built from 1766 to 1768 (the bell tower was built in 1867), the simple and bright style, the red and white facade, conveying the atmosphere of neoclassical palace architecture. The building was originally the central post office in Madrid, later the headquarters of the Franco-era Ministry of National Security, and is now the government office building in Madrid. For quite a while, the Spanish people loved the clock on the roof of the Security Bureau building, and regarded the clock as Spanish standard time, and it was honored to come here to watch. Today, people gather in the square to listen to the New Year bells of the building. On the north side, four slightly curved buildings lined up all the way, with stylish facades and white crystals; The top of the building is towering "TIO PEPE" (the world's first brand of sherry) advertising, exaggerated with elegance, cute cute. The ground of the street in front of the main entrance of the Security Bureau building is embedded with the road zero kilometers logo. Semicircular logo engraved with maps of Spain and the Iberian Peninsula and the words "0 km, road starting point". Spanish roads calculate miles from this point, Madrid streets prepare house numbers from this point. Without a shadow, the shoes underfoot have not set foot in Madrid.

The sculpture of Philip IV of Madrid's Oriental Plaza, with its unique and majestic shape, brought the Oriental Plaza to fire. Oriental Plaza, built by the invader King José Bonaparte I (brother of Napoleon), was completed in 1844, adjacent to the east gate of the Palace of Madrid (main gate) to the west and connected to the Royal Theatre to the southeast. The square's spacious boulevards, neat green plants, beautiful round fountains, neat tall statues (about 20 statues of Spanish kings), are full of French style. The bronze statue of the marble pedestal at the C-place of the square is a 12-metre-high Philip IV rod-drawn sculpture built in 1640. Most of the riding sculptures are three hoofs landing on the ground, ensuring the sculpture's stability with three pivots. To show the power of Felipe IV, the sculpture emptied the front hoof of the horse, but the technology at the time was difficult to balance the bronze statue. Galileo, the father of modern physics, gave the answer and used two methods to achieve balance: one is to cleverly make the horse tail to the ground, the horse tail and the rear hoof form a 3-point balance; the second is to make the horse's rear adopt a solid state, the front is hollow state, so that the center of gravity is moved back to three pivots. Thus, the sculpture of the vacated by the horses' double hoofs was born horizontally, and it is still proud of the Qunxiong and Weizhen Quartet.

Madrid, the capital of Spain, is surrounded by many city sculptures in the middle and alleys of the square. The most influential and affinity is the statue of the "Bear and Raspberry" in Puerta del Sol. In January 1967, a famous Spanish artist made a large bronze statue of "bear and raspberry" nearly 4 meters high and weighing 2 tons, placed in the Plaza del Sol in the center of Madrid, which became the most iconic landscape sculpture, popular with citizens and tourists. On the 50th anniversary of the statue's completion in 2017, the words "Madrid 1967-2017" and "50 years in the sun" were engraved on both sides of the granite base. Entering the Puerta del Sol, with the crowds shoulder to shoulder coming to the sculpture at the eastern end of the square. A fat bear climbs a lush tree, with upright hind legs, front paws holding the tree, solid body, cute look, dark hair color, bodybuilding muscles, lively, lifelike...
