Tonomachi Street is a lovely street to stroll through. The street is full of history and lined with shops and restaurants. Vehicles do drive here but far and few as the main road is a few blocks over....

Very pleasant stroll
I parked and bought a pack of fish food pellets for 50¥. It is really nice to walk down that street, appreciating the old housing and feeding the carps.
Great place to walk
A nice calm road lined with coffee and treat shops, sake distilleries and lunch places. Lots of history here and the cute Koi add to the already fun street.

The hotel is a very beautiful street, it's a pleasure to walk through it while watching the carpes swim.
