Not open on a Monday so didn’t get to go inside or the museum. Which was a shame. But enjoyed walking around. They had seating so you can bring a picnic. And also have a barbecue.

A little bit of history

The museum was closed when we arrived but we walked around the grounds and looked inside the cottage. I love history so really enjoyed the time we spent there.

Interesting part of history.

The museum is interesting to visit containing a lot of history about the area and the way of life back then.

A must for all

You would never guess this was run by volunteers only- very professional, friendly and helpful team. Very well presented museum, cottage, slab sheet full of juice industry and agricultural equipment ...
