Please do not go on Christmas Day! All the museums and cafes are close. But the place is such an artist's haven. Wherever you look is a piece of art. Would come back, definitely!
This area is fabulous- art galleries, glass works, museums, kinetic sculpture hall clock, yachts, cafes and more!
Something here for all ages, The Hundertwasser Gallery is the gem on the waterfront- great coffee and general ambiance is delightful - well done Whangarei
